Stéphane Coruble, chief executive officer of RTL AdAlliance, has been elected president of egta for a two-year term. The association represents television and audio advertising sales organizations across Europe and other international markets, providing research, benchmarking, events and industry forums for members involved in media advertising sales.
Coruble succeeds Laurent Bliaut, deputy general director for marketing, strategy and innovation at TF1 Pub.
According to egta, Coruble will focus on strengthening collaboration across the television, video and audio advertising sectors as media companies respond to changes driven by artificial intelligence, streaming, audience fragmentation and evolving advertiser requirements.
The organization said his presidency will emphasize collaboration and simplification across the media ecosystem, helping broadcasters and sales houses address advertiser demand for effectiveness, accountability, scalability and easier cross-market buying.
Katty Roberfroid, director general of egta, said, “We are extremely pleased to welcome Stéphane Coruble as egta president and are confident that his international industry expertise and collaborative mindset will help strengthen egta’s role in supporting members. At a time of significant transformation, agreeing on shared priorities and aligning around common standards and objectives is more important than ever.”
Coruble said, “It is a great honor to take on the role of president of egta. Despite profound transformation, one constant remains: Audiences continue to seek trusted content, credible information and entertainment with which they emotionally connect. Over the next two years, egta will accelerate work across key strategic priorities, including artificial intelligence, multiplatform audience measurement, sustainability, accessibility, market intelligence and regulatory affairs. The future of premium media will be built on trust, partnerships and innovation.”
