Broadcast Radio says it has completed a major upgrade to its Myriad Cloud platform, increasing throughput by up to 218% while reducing processing times by 69%. The company says the improvements are now live across its cloud infrastructure and apply automatically to all customers using the service.
According to Broadcast Radio, the upgrade accelerates audio ingest and processing workflows, allowing content to move through the system more quickly. The company says the changes are part of an ongoing development program for Myriad Cloud, its browser-based radio playout and automation platform.
Myriad Cloud is a native cloud radio platform that provides playout, scheduling, voice tracking and contribution tools through a web interface. Broadcast Radio says the platform is used by broadcasters ranging from small internet stations to larger radio groups.
The company says the latest performance improvements focus on increasing system capacity and responsiveness as more broadcasters move radio operations to cloud-based environments. According to Broadcast Radio, faster processing enables stations to ingest and prepare audio content more efficiently while supporting larger-scale deployments.
The upgrade follows several recent developments to the Myriad Cloud platform, including the continued rollout of its cloud-native architecture and new automation features. Broadcast Radio says the changes are designed to improve scalability and operational efficiency for radio broadcasters using cloud-based workflows.
