The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) has announced that all members its Board of Directors have been re-elected to serve the organization in 2023.
Steve Reynolds of Imagine Communications will again serve as chair, and Terry Holton of Yamaha will continue as AIMS’ vice chair.
AIMS is an industry consortium led by broadcast and ProAV engineers, technologists, visionaries, vendors and business leaders, with the goal of the adoption of a single set of common standards-based protocols to IP in the media, entertainment and professional audio/video industries.
The AIMS Board of Directors for 2023 will again consist of Reynolds and Holton, as well as Chief Financial Officer Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), Andrew Starks (Macnica), and Chuck Meyer (Grass Valley).
“Year after year, AIMS succeeds in bringing its diverse and growing membership together to extend the boundaries of IP adoption across broadcast and Pro AV,” said Reynolds. “I am eager to work with my colleagues in the coming year and to continue our momentum in enabling better and broader access to more flexible IP-based media workflows.”
