AEQ has released the Capitol IP Plus, a compact digital audio console designed to balance size, flexibility and remote operability for on-air and production environments.
With a 10-fader layout and a footprint of just 49 mm in height, the Capitol IP Plus is built for studios where space is limited but full broadcast functionality is still required. AEQ says the console integrates essential features such as touchscreen-driven DSP, AoIP support via Dante and AES67, and flexible I/O options through its M_Core Plus engine — all in a form factor suitable for desktop installation without rack mounting.
AEQ highlights the console’s ability to manage live operation both locally and remotely. The company’s Virtual Capitol application mirrors the control surface on a PC or tablet, enabling parallel or remote adjustments of faders, EQ, routing, presets and even phone calls when equipped with digital hybrids.
The console also includes independent monitoring for control and studio rooms, plus Bluetooth connectivity for mobile device integration — features that support use in hybrid radio operations or auxiliary studio setups.
The Capitol IP Plus supports signal assignment across its inputs and outputs with configurations stored in memory banks. The M_Core Plus engine includes analog, digital, USB and AoIP I/O, with optional Madi and telephone hybrid modules for expanded operation.
AEQ positions the Capitol IP Plus for self-operated studios or as part of distributed workflows in larger facilities.

The company will demonstrate the new console at Cabsat 2025, Hall 1, booth 103.
