Australian commercial radio maintains weekly reach of 12.8 million
The United States’ National Association of Broadcasters has redesigned its Spot Center, making it easier for local radio stations to access, download and air public service announcements from nonprofit organizations.
The refreshed platform features a cleaner, more intuitive interface that allows broadcasters to browse broadcast-ready campaigns covering issues affecting local communities, including heatstroke, breast cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and drug-impaired driving. All campaigns are available to broadcasters at no cost and are intended for voluntary use.
NAB’s Spot Center provides radio and television stations with ready-to-air public service materials from established nonprofit organizations, giving broadcasters access to trusted educational content without having to develop campaigns themselves. The organization said the resource supports broadcasters’ long-standing role in serving their communities beyond news and entertainment by helping stations inform and engage local audiences.
Established in 2008, Spot Center continues to serve as a centralized library of public service campaigns for broadcasters, with the redesigned website focusing on a faster, more accessible user experience.
