Sunday, April 6 — 11 a.m.
“HOME at the world’s most famous arena”
Brent Angle, chief technology officer at CineSys — a U.S.-based systems integrator supporting media companies with IT, storage and workflow solutions — will discuss how IP-based infrastructures transform live production in high-profile venues. He will detail CineSys’ work in deploying Lawo’s HOME platform to support seamless audio connectivity, real-time collaboration and remote production, including a significant implementation at a globally recognized arena.
Monday, April 7 — 10 a.m.
“Towards a dynamic media facility: From dream to virtuality”
François Legrand, senior director of core systems engineering at CBC/Radio-Canada, will outline CBC/Radio-Canada’s move to a fully IP-native infrastructure at its Montreal Broadcast Center. His session will explore how software-defined audio routing and virtualized workflows have enabled more agile, resilient radio and broadcast operations.
Tuesday, April 8 — 10 a.m.
“Microsoft — Building a global production hub with Lawo HOME”
Dan Charette, systems architect at RUN Studios, will present how Microsoft Production Studios uses Lawo’s HOME platform to scale its global production environment. He will explain how IP audio workflows and cloud-based infrastructure support Microsoft’s distributed production teams and maintain consistent quality across multiple locations.
