Mission Media, a New York-based media monetization and advertising company, has added a proprietary Quality Score to its Content Hub podcast advertising platform. The company says the capability will give advertisers and agencies a more consistent way to evaluate and curate podcast inventory.
The score considers audience size, downloads, advertising availability, requested impressions, Apple listener ratings and reviews and the recency of a program’s content. Mission Media says it also subjects each show to an ongoing invalid traffic verification process before classifying the inventory as Premium, Long-Tail or Unverified.
Mission Media did not disclose the formula, weighting or thresholds behind the classifications. CEO David Krulewich described the score as an “objective measure” and argued that premium status should not remain limited to inventory owned by large media groups.
The company launched Content Hub in June 2026 to give buyers access to podcast inventory, audience, pricing, contextual relevance and campaign performance information. The new scoring capability adds an inventory evaluation layer to those discovery and campaign-management tools.
