Expect the Aqua Broadcast team to be busy at the NAB Show with the launching of two products, the Zen 10 automatic gain control and the Pacific audio processor.
Aimed at multiple applications, e.g. broadcast, streaming, etc., the Zen 10 “features 10 AGC processor controllers, configurable to use from one to as many as five frequency bands, each band with two channels. These bands offer independent control over their respective channels, with each band having the flexibility to be set up as linked stereo or in a L+R/L-R matrix,” according to the announcement.
It adds, “The Zen 10 boasts a BS 1770 loudness control sidechain, Dante AES67 I/O connectivity, Hans van Zutphen of Thimeo’s renowned Perfect Declipper technology at the input, and a unique ‘Punch’ attack emphasis control. For maximum flexibility and ease of use, the Zen 10 is fully remote-controllable via a user-friendly HTML interface.”
The Zen 10 is part of the collaboration between Aqua Broadcast and David Reaves Audio.
The Pacific processor is “a new six-band product offering the same Intelligent Automation and robust security features that have earned Aqua’s Cobalt range critical acclaim. The Aqua Pacific delivers exceptional performance at an accessible price point, making it a versatile and high-quality choice for both emerging and established broadcasters.”
Additional details include, “analog, AES3 digital audio I/O, and includes monitoring capabilities through a front-panel headphone jack as well as remote audio monitoring. It can be easily controlled via its front panel or through an intuitive web interface with dual-color LCD displays.”
Aqua Broadcast will be in Booth 2520.
