Bauer Media Audio is expanding its digital audio advertising platform, audioXi, to the U.K. Already established in eight of Bauer’s European markets, including Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Slovakia, the U.K. launch will provide new targeting opportunities for advertisers.
Set to be available for campaigns from July, audioXi will leverage first-party data from Bauer’s audio and publishing brands to deliver addressable advertising across a range of digital audio content. U.K. advertisers will gain access to AI-enabled tools for audience targeting, with inventory spanning Bauer’s audio networks, including Absolute Radio, KISS and Magic Radio, as well as podcasts and publishing brands such as Grazia, Empire, Car and Mother and Bab
“Launching audioXi in the U.K. has been our long-term strategic plan, giving us increased agility and control to shape our next steps in the digital audio landscape while strengthening our offering across Europe,” said Simon Kilby, managing director of Bauer Media Advertising. “The response from advertisers has already been incredibly positive.”
The move follows Bauer’s decision to sell its share of Octave to News UK, reinforcing its independent position in digital audio advertising. Advertisers will continue to book campaigns through Octave until the end of June 2025.
