PodX appoints Pelle Porseryd as acting managing director for Nordics
WorldDAB Automotive 2024 is fast approaching. The conference, which will be held in Prague on Thursday, June 13, and online, will continue the dashboard dialog and explore the strength and importance of DAB+ live broadcast digital radio.
WorldDAB President Jacqueline Bierhorst will open the event. The organization will announce international keynote speakers shortly.
One of the most popular aspects of WorldDAB Automotive is the extensive opportunities for networking with attendees from around the world, including delegates from automotive manufacturers (OEMs, Tier 1s, Tier 2s), commercial and public broadcasters; chip, receiver and equipment manufacturers; network operators; regulators; and national digital radio rollout bodies.
The event runs from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. at Spojka Events, a modern event space “with a touch of industrial style” in the heart of Karlín, near the Křižíkova metro station. WorldDAB notes that June is one of the best times to experience the historic city of Prague, so hotels can be busy, and it strongly recommends booking travel and accommodation as soon as possible.
For those attending in-person, the event opens on the evening of Wednesday, June 12 with a reception at the Miminoo Garden Restaurant, well-known as a green oasis on the border of Prague’s Žižkov and Vinohrady districts, suitably in the shadow of the iconic Žižkov tower, broadcasting DAB+ to the city.
