Perry Swain is the new Genelec hand in the United Kingdom, the company has announced.
The official title is “regional business development manager, focusing on the U.K. market,” according to the announcement. He will team with Genelec’s other U.K. employee, Andy Bensley. Bensley will cover the north while Swain has the south.
Swain is familiar with Genelec having worked for the Genelec U.K. distributor Source Distribution in the past.
Swain said, “Having worked closely with the company for many years in previous roles, I have a very personal connection with Genelec and the team there. It’s particularly good to be working alongside Andy again, and geographically our roles will dovetail perfectly.”
Genelec International Sales Manager Michael Bohlin commented, “The U.K. continues to be a hugely important international market for Genelec, and Perry’s appointment will bring even more firepower to our team there… Perry’s experience with our company, our loudspeaker solutions, and the U.K. sales channel, will enable him to really hit the ground running”
