Susan Larkin, the new CEO and president of RCS, has outlined her view of how broadcast technology is evolving, highlighting flexibility and collaboration as central to the company’s direction.
Speaking to RedTech at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Larkin described a market undergoing rapid change, where broadcasters are rethinking workflows, distribution and audience engagement strategies.
Larkin positioned RCS as focusing on adapting to those shifts by aligning more closely with customers. She indicated that the company is prioritizing solutions that reflect the specific needs of different broadcasters, rather than applying a standardized model across markets.
She also highlighted the role of collaboration with RCS’s global partner base, suggesting that joint development and ongoing dialogue are becoming more important as the industry transitions toward more complex, hybrid operating environments.
Larkin’s comments come as broadcasters continue to integrate digital platforms, data-driven decision-making and new production technologies, placing greater emphasis on software systems that can adapt to changing operational demands.
