Sennheiser will host a virtual, interactive seminar, “Expert round table — MKH 8030,” on May 14. Some of the world’s best field recordists will take attendees on a virtual discovery of the most amazing places to explore and record nature sounds. At the same time, one panellist will add an equally fascinating orchestral recording perspective. The seminar will provide insights into the panellists’ best recording tips and tricks and shine a light on Sennheiser’s MKH line of RF condenser microphones, including the new MKH 8030, designed to combine fine-resolution recordings with climate-proof ruggedness.
Afterwards, seminar attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panellists questions.
The panellists are 3D immersive audio specialist Henrik Oppermann, Emmy-winning director and cinematographer Tom Martienssen, nature sound recordist and composer Thomas Beverly, sound recordist and expedition leader George Vlad, and Simon Charles, a highly skilled professional sound specialist for film, television, documentary, commercials and corporate productions.
