CRA unveils ‘Audio x Mixed Media Modeling’ session at Heard 2025
Radio Seybo, a full-service radio station in the Dominican Republic with a strong focus on community service, has implemented the AEQ AudioPlus system to enhance its programming and broadcasting operations. Supported by the Misioneros Dominicos association, the station broadcasts on 1370 AM, 93.7 FM and online, offering a diverse mix of music, culture, religion and local, national and international news.
Despite limited resources, Radio Seybo has made the most of its capabilities to ensure quality programming. The station has recently integrated the AEQ AudioPlus automation system in its editing and main production studio to modernize content management and delivery.
Miguel Angel Gullón, technical manager at Radio Seybo, led the installation with support from Belén Sánchez, executive director of Selvas Amazónicas – Misioneros Dominicanos in Madrid and AEQ’s technical team in Leganés and Mexico City.
AEQ AudioPlus, designed for small to medium-sized stations, offers features such as manual, automatic and remote-controlled playout, music and advertising scheduling and content creation and editing. Based on AEQ’s Mar4Suite systems used in large networks, it provides professional-grade functionality at an accessible cost. Compatible with Windows operating systems and SQL Server databases, the system includes a self-installation wizard, support for low-cost audio cards and additional editing and management tools.
