PodX Group has appointed Pelle Porseryd as acting managing director for the Nordics while Jenny Zhao Insulander is on maternity leave through February 2027.
Porseryd will officially start in the role on May 26. He brings 25 years of media industry experience to the position. Before joining PodX, he served as partner and content director at Podme and previously worked as head of production at TV4.
Patrick Svensk, CEO of PodX Group, said Porseryd’s experience across content and publishing strategy, monetization, IP optimization and subscription services would support the company’s Nordic operations and strategic projects.
Porseryd said the podcasting sector is “in a very interesting phase right now” and described PodX as having “big ambitions, outstanding brands, and great teams both centrally and locally, backed by solid owners with a long-term commitment.”
Founded in 2021, PodX Group operates podcast businesses across Europe, the United States and Latin America with around 200 employees across its companies. The company is part of Qarlbo, a Sweden-based investment company.
