Australian broadcast integrator and equipment dealer OnAir Solutions has acquired the Australian operations of equipment manufacturer and distributor Sonifex.
Sonifex Chief Executive Officer Marcus Brooke said, “We have worked closely with OnAir Solutions for more than a decade with their projects for ABC and other large broadcasters. I cannot think of a better company to purchase our Australian business operations.”
OnAir Solutions Managing Director Paul Dengate said, “I’ve known the Sonifex team for a long time, and this was a perfect fit to grow both businesses. We have a complementary product range, and I am excited to bring on new vendors Nautel, Orban and Tieline, as well as existing shared brands like Sonifex and Inovonics.”
According to a release, Australian clients will not see much in the way of changes as OnAir Solutions is taking over Sonifex’s Sydney offices.
The effective date is July 1.
