Sennheiser Spectera sits at center of NEP Australia’s audio overhaul
Sonifex has named Independent Audio its Export Distributor of the Year.
Based in Maine, Independent Audio has been a Sonifex distributor since 1996. It received the Sonifex 2020–2021 Export Distributor Award in recognition of a year of high sales.
The Distributor of the Year Awards are traditionally handed out during the IBC show in September. However, due to COVID-19 and the show’s postponement, this year’s Export Distributor Award was given in person to Independent Audio’s founder Fraser Jones when he recently visited the Sonifex factory. He received the award from Richard Butlin, sales manager for U.K. South, Europe and Americas (left in photo).
“This has been an extremely difficult year for the entire industry, but Independent Audio has surpassed all our expectations to have a record sales year,” said Marcus Brooke, managing director of Sonifex.
“Some new Sonifex products, especially the new AVN-DIO10 SDI to Dante converter, have sent our sales rocketing this year, despite the pandemic,” commented Jones. “It’s a pleasure to receive the award for the first time, and to have such a long and enduring relationship with Sonifex.”
