Nautel’s popular Transmission Talk Tuesday webinars return in 2025, starting with “Back to the Basics” on Jan. 21 at noon ET (6 p.m. CET). Host Jeff Welton will be joined by Burley Stapley, corporate chief engineer at Blanchard River Broadcasting, to discuss soldering skills, essential toolkit items and other basic engineering essentials. “As with all skills, the less we use them, the rustier we get,” Welton said. “This session will be a fun discussion on how to get the job done, and we encourage attendees to bring their own ideas and lists.”
On Feb. 11, the series continues with “Optimizing Audio,” starting at noon ET (6 p.m. CET). Adam Robinson from DJB Radio will join Welton to explore best practices for audio paths from microphones to transmitters. “We initially planned to focus on automation systems but decided to broaden the discussion,” Welton said. “We’ll cover stability, performance and practical strategies.”
As with previous sessions, attendees are encouraged to participate actively. “This isn’t a standard webinar,” Welton said. “There’s a wealth of expertise in this industry, and everyone has something valuable to contribute.”
