Global appoints Senior VP of US Sales for DAX

Global Media & Entertainment group has announced the appointment of Audacy’s John Fitzgerald as its new senior V.P. of United States sales for DAX, the company’s digital advertising platform.

Based in New York, Fitzgerald has more than 25 years of experience across digital audio, radio, TV, video, digital and events. Prior to his stint at Audacy, Fitzgerald spent more than 20 years with broadcasting giant ESPN.

“John has a strong track record of results throughout his career,” said Les Hollander, CEO of DAX North America. “His knowledge of the audio industry, his leadership ability and industry contacts are outstanding. Global is Europe’s largest radio company and created DAX ─ the largest digital audio advertising platform in the UK ─ to connect advertisers with its global audience of more than 130 million people via its music streaming services, connected radio listening and podcasts.

Fitzgerald will be overseeing advertising efforts and leading a team of sales leaders and consultants across the US, as well as defining and executing the company’s sales growth strategy.
