The Genelec GLM 4 series of tutorials continues. In tomorrow’s Sonic Reference tutorial, Thomas Lund will show participants how to use the system for advanced monitor control.
The series targets engineers, creatives, and anyone who “cares deeply” about audio quality. The goal of the program, the company says, is to ensure that users’ material sounds exactly the way they want it to, no matter the means of distribution or consumation.
In this module, Lund will cover the use of standard calibrated listening levels and switching between monitor setups and listening locations. In addition, he’ll discuss solo and mute functions; monitoring presets; and touch screen monitor control.
Genelec says that this series provides participants with guidance that will take their work to the next level. It adds that it actively encourages attendees to ask questions and participate in the Q&A session at the end of each tutorial.
Everyone successfully passing four or more modules will then receive a certificate. They will also be eligible for the prize drawing to win a pair of Genelec RAW 8320 Smart Active Monitors and GLM kit.
The two identical sessions are one hour long and delivered in English. To register for the 12 p.m. session click here. Or to register for the 6 p.m. CEST session click here.
