Futuri has released version 12 of its Mobile app platform, designed to give radio stations and media brands greater control over listener experience and monetization. The company says Mobile v12 supports deeper audience engagement and a higher level of visual and functional customization, with tools for content uploads, real-time interaction and seamless in-app video.
New features include live lyrics display on the now-playing screen, a native video player with MRSS feed support, and a personalised navigation system that lets users tailor the app’s layout. Users can also upload photos and videos directly through the app, expanding participation beyond passive listening.

The platform supports programmatic ad delivery, video and audio pre-roll, and features aimed at maximising in-app time, such as flash contesting and the Open Mic feature.
Futuri says the new version also improves integration with in-car streaming systems. “The response to v12 from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Craig Hahn, general manager of fusion products at Futuri. “Stations love the ability to fully customise the app without going through a support desk. The user-generated content feature is creating new ways to bolster listener engagement on-air and on social media.”
