Beasley Media Group has entered into a definitive agreement to sell two FM radio properties to Educational Media Foundation. The transaction covers 95.1 WNKS-FM, branded as KISS 95.1, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and KXTE-FM, branded as X107.5, in Las Vegas. EMF is the nonprofit broadcaster behind the K-LOVE and Air1 Christian music networks.
Beasley plans to move the “Maney and LauRen” morning show from KISS 95.1 to sister station 104.7 WKQC-FM in Charlotte. The weekday program will continue to serve its existing audience from the new station. Beasley did not provide further details about programming changes at WKQC.
In Las Vegas, the programming and brand currently heard on KXTE-FM will move to KVGS-FM. The transition will allow Beasley to retain the KXTE format and brand within its Las Vegas portfolio after selling the signal. The company did not disclose whether the move would involve changes to the station’s schedule or on-air lineup.
Caroline Beasley, CEO of Beasley Media Group, described the agreements as part of the company’s continuing management of its station portfolio. “We’re excited that Charlotte listeners will continue to be entertained by Maney and LauRen on 104.7 WKQC, and that our Las Vegas audience will continue to enjoy the KXTE brand on KVGS,” she said. Beasley added that the company expects to work with K-LOVE on a smooth transition.
Thomas Stultz, CEO of K-LOVE Inc., pointed to the two signals’ histories in their respective markets. “We look forward to building on that legacy as we expand our mission of delivering uplifting, positive programming to listeners in Charlotte, Las Vegas and the surrounding areas,” he said. EMF has not yet announced the programming or branding it plans to introduce on the acquired signals.
Both transactions remain subject to customary closing conditions, including approval from the Federal Communications Commission. Beasley and EMF expect to complete the sales in mid-October 2026. The companies did not disclose the purchase price.
