RedTech Magazine July/August 2026 drives growth through connections
Radio management exec and on-air talent Nick River’s is returning to where he started career, Beasley Media’s Charlotte, N.C., cluster. There he’ll be assistant program director for WSOC(FM) and WKQC(FM) in addition to being on-air for afternoon at WSOC. River’s started at the Charlotte cluster nearly 20 years ago, according to an announcement.
Rivers was most recently at Hubbard Radio’s West Palm Beach, Fla. Operations for WEAT(FM) and WIRK(FM), along with doing a night show for the company’s WUBE(FM) in Cincinnati.
Beasley Media Group Charlotte radio cluster Vice President and Market Manager Mac Edwards said, “We’re excited to have Nick Rivers coming onboard… Nick’s programming expertise, on-air creativity, fresh ideas and energy made him the perfect fit for this key role on our Charlotte team.”

Rivers officially starts Aug. 24.
