At the 2025 NAB Show, Dielectric credited much of its recent growth in FM antenna sales to SCMS Inc., a key distributor for major broadcast brands across North America. Dielectric says that since partnering with Dielectric to promote its FM antenna systems, SCMS has significantly boosted sales through strong industry relationships, securing notable contracts with broadcasters such as Minnesota Public Radio and Maine Public Radio.
Representatives from SCMS joined Dielectric at booth W3000 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 2025 NAB Show, where they are highlighting their collaboration in serving FM and TV broadcasters.
Dielectric, historically known for its dominant position in high-power TV antenna systems — especially highlighted during the TV spectrum repack — recognized SCMS’s strength in radio distribution. The cyclical nature of the transmission market led Dielectric executives to leverage SCMS’s reputation to strengthen their presence in FM radio.
Looking ahead, we expect SCMS to help integrate our systems into more comprehensive RF infrastructure projects
Keith Pelletier, president and general manager of Dielectric
“SCMS has played a crucial role in showcasing our extensive FM antenna range to engineers and broadcast executives who previously associated Dielectric primarily with television,” said Keith Pelletier, president and general manager of Dielectric. “Looking ahead, we expect SCMS to help integrate our systems into more comprehensive RF infrastructure projects.”
SCMS is finalizing a major deal involving a master FM antenna system with a prominent Michigan commercial broadcaster.
“The demand for master antenna systems is growing, especially as leading tower companies expand their infrastructure and broadcasters continue to consolidate,” said Matt Cauthen, vice president of SCMS. “Tower companies are increasingly hosting multiple stations, creating industry-wide demand. With recent market consolidation, Dielectric is well-positioned due to its innovative FM manifold combiners and modular antenna designs.”
“The key is customer engagement directly with Dielectric’s factory team,” said Cauthen. “When broadcasters connect strategically with Keith Pelletier or Cory Edwards (OEM product manager and APAC sales) and then collaborate directly with Dielectric’s engineers, it creates a clear advantage. Educating customers on Dielectric’s full capabilities is essential, and SCMS makes that connection happen.”
