AEQ is offering those wishing to visit IBC2024 a free guest pass and an opportunity to discover its new audio codecs.
The belle of the ball is AEQ’s Venus 4 two-channel, full duplex, stereo IP audio codec, which features local analog, digital and AoIP Dante™ /AES67 inputs and outputs. It supports two independent stereo/dual stereo or four mono connections to two different destinations with selectable formats and qualities. It incorporates remote control and configuration support tools, three network ports, two RS232 auxiliary data links and a choice of redundant AC or 48V DC power supply.
AEQ will also profile SmartTalk, a new cloud-based audio codec system. This app allows a simple web link connection between an occasional or regular participant in a program using their PC, tablet or smartphone and a designated Phoenix audio codec in a studio.
