Italy opens applications for AI, 5G Broadcast and DAB investment funding
Vortex Communications, developer of the CallMe soft codecs and more, says it will be at this week’s The Podcast Show, May 21–22, London.
Addressing the growing podcast market the company will be showing and demonstrating its CallMe remote audio products, most notably the symbiotic relationship of the CallMe RC software and with the RodeCaster Pro II and Duo mini mixers. This match allows the RodeCasters to link with each other and remote audio contributors.
Vortex is a full-line Rode dealer so it can provide all-in-one/turnkey audio packages for podcasters, from mics to mixers and more.
In addition, Vortex will be showing CallMe diRECt-X (see picture), not to be confused with Microsoft’s long-serving multimedia API family, DirectX. It is a subscription-based cloud podcast production system.
Requiring no special hardware or software, a release explains that “the host browses to their CallMe account page, logs in and from there can issue connection web links to guests. Up to five guests plus the host can be conferenced together with each receiving a mix-minus feed of everyone except themselves. Live streaming using Opus Audio can be broadcast or recorded externally.”
