RedTech Magazine July/August 2026 drives growth through connections
The National Association of Broadcasters says the TV and Radio HQ, presented by Xperi, will move to a new location on the Central Hall show floor for the 2026 NAB Show. The event runs April 19–22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
NAB says the relocation from West Hall is intended to place broadcast-focused programming and community spaces in a more visible and accessible part of the show floor. The TV and Radio HQ has traditionally served as a hub for television and radio content at the NAB Show.
“The TV and Radio HQ for 2026 reflects how broadcasters want to experience NAB Show today, with relevant, high-energy programming that’s integrated directly into the show floor,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president of global connections and events at NAB. She said the Central Hall presence is designed to make it easier for broadcasters, exhibitors and attendees to connect and engage with discussions shaping television and radio.
According to NAB, the reimagined HQ will include the HQ Theater, which will host short-form sessions and live conversations focused on trends, technology and talent across TV, radio and audio storytelling. The adjacent NAB Member Lounge will provide a dedicated networking space for NAB members throughout the show.
New workforce development program
NAB also says the TV and Radio HQ will host a new workforce development program aimed at industry leaders. The sessions will focus on skills and organizational strategy, addressing the impact of AI, evolving talent models and workforce trends across media and technology. The program will be open to all NAB Show attendees.
As part of its broadcast programming changes, NAB announced that the Small and Medium Market Radio Forum will take place on Sunday, April 19, at the start of the show. NAB says the shift is intended to increase participation and align the forum more closely with the broader broadcast schedule.
The NAB Show Premium Conference will again be based in North Hall, anchored by the integrated Broadcast Management and Monetization Conference. NAB says this will include the Small and Medium Market Radio Forum, the Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference, Radio Advertising Bureau sales and revenue sessions and the NAB Leadership Foundation’s Focus on Leadership series.
“This evolution reflects our commitment to providing broadcasters with programming that is modern, accessible and aligned with the challenges and opportunities they face today,” said April Carty-Sipp, executive vice president of industry affairs and innovation at NAB.
