CRA unveils ‘Audio x Mixed Media Modeling’ session at Heard 2025
The WorldDAB Spectrum and Network Implementation Committee is hosting a Seminar on DAB+ signal distribution on March 9. The seminar will be in Geneva, Switzerland, and online.
Signal distribution — getting the signal from the multiplexer to the transmitter — is critical for all operators, and each network operator tackles this issue differently. There are many ways to transport the signal from the multiplex to the transmitter and different strategies to achieve reliability and redundancy.
The expert panel includes Hanns Wolter and Emmanuele Mancuso of DAB Italia, Tork Niendorf of 2wcom Systems, Stan Roehrich of digris and Lawrie Hallett of Future Digital Norfolk.
The March 9 seminar is from 9.30 a.m. to 12 midday CET (8.30 a.m. – 11 a.m. GMT) at the Genève meeting room at EBU, Grand Saconnex, Geneva.
WorldDAB will provide a Zoom link closer to the date for those registering online.
The seminar is free to attend, in-person or online, and you can register here.
