WorldDAB has released details of Jacqueline Bierhorst’s opening address at WorldDAB Automotive 2024 in Prague on Thursday, June 13, and online.
The WorldDAB President’s keynote will explore why broadcast radio remains the heart of the car.
According to the organizers, her insights will cover:
- Drivers’ love for radio and the data-driven reasons behind the continued popularity of in-car radio.
- Freedom and openness — the benefits of radio for both broadcasters and car manufacturers.
- Safety, information and entertainment — how radio keeps drivers informed and entertained, while also providing crucial emergency alerts.
- Unwavering reliability — the advantages of broadcast radio’s stable and dependable signal.
The organizers will announce details of other speakers closer to the event.
For those attending in-person, the event opens on the evening of Wednesday, June 12 with a reception at the Miminoo Garden Restaurant, well-known as a green oasis on the border of Prague’s Žižkov and Vinohrady districts, suitably in the shadow of the iconic Žižkov tower, broadcasting DAB+ to the city.
