WorldCast Systems will introduce the latest version of its Audemat FM and DAB test and measurement platform — MC6 v1.2 — at the 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The updated system integrates enhanced lab generators, signal analysis and audio testing capabilities, which WorldCast says provide broadcasters and regulators with a precise measurement solution. The Audemat MC6 is already used for RF coverage measurement, band scanning, field measurements, on-site commissioning with automated reports and drive tests.
The new version introduces audio and MPX generators for in-depth transmission quality analysis, an audio analyzer supporting analog and AES audio inputs and a DAB analyzer with full DAB service decoding, including DLS and SLS. The enhanced FM analyzer enables measurements from analog or AES MPX/composite inputs for more precise FM broadcast testing.
The Audemat MC6 supports up to two DAB and eight FM receivers. WorldCast says this improves measurement efficiency, and its intuitive user interface is designed to optimize workflows.
“At WorldCast Systems, we continuously push the boundaries of broadcast test and measurement technology,” said Gregory Mercier, product marketing director at WorldCast Systems. “With Audemat MC6 v1.2, we are delivering an even more powerful tool, ensuring broadcasters and regulators have the accuracy and efficiency they need for high-quality radio services.”
