WorldCast Systems has announced that its Ecreso arm is updating the software inside its FM AiO series of FM transmitters.
According to the release, Version 3.2.2 has “enhanced synchronization features and a built-in GPS receiver.” It adds “This new version delivers unparalleled precision, cost-efficiency, and superior audio quality for broadcasters worldwide.”
The release explains, “With SynchroStream now fully integrated into the [onboard] APT IP Decoder, the Ecreso FM AiO Series offers real-time dynamic delay compensation, ensuring perfect synchronization between multiple transmitters. Broadcasters can precisely adjust overlap areas with 50-meter accuracy, optimizing coverage while reducing interference in SFN applications.”
WorldCast Systems Ecreso Product Manager David Houzé said, “By integrating SynchroStream and GPS directly into the AiO Series, we are simplifying SFN deployments while maintaining the highest standards of synchronization and audio quality… With this latest version, broadcasters can reduce infrastructure costs, streamline installation, and enhance network performance like never before.”
WorldCast will be demonstrating the new features in the FM AiO at its booth, W3115, at the NAB Show.
