At the 2025 NAB Show, WorldCast Systems says it will present a suite of new and upgraded solutions designed to optimize FM radio broadcast operations, including simplified STL configurations, precision SFN synchronization and scalable test and measurement tools.
A key focus will be on streamlining STL workflows. WorldCast says it will demonstrate how broadcasters can reduce hardware and simplify setup by combining the Ecreso FM AiO Series transmitter, which now includes a built-in APT IP decoder, with APTmpX Software running on Windows or Linux servers. The company says this approach delivers high-quality audio with greater operational flexibility and long-term cost savings.
Firmware upgrades
WorldCast will also showcase version 2 of APTmpX, which now supports RDS transport as synchronized data or as a 57 kHz subcarrier at lower bitrates — 300, 400 and 600 kb/s — extending functionality previously limited to the 900 kb/s version.
For synchronized FM networks, the company is promoting the latest firmware for the Ecreso AiO Series (v3.3.2). This release features enhanced SFN synchronization and a built-in GPS receiver to support cost-effective deployment with high-precision timing.
On the measurement side, the latest Audemat MC6 v1.2 integrates expanded lab generators, signal analysis and audio testing tools for FM and DAB applications. WorldCast says the upgrade strengthens its offering for broadcasters and regulators seeking reliable test and measurement capabilities.
WorldCast Systems will exhibit at booth W3115. Visitors can use code NS3683 to claim a free exhibit pass.
