DTS report highlights importance of vehicle ownership and third-space role
The Telos Alliance says that its newest member of the Telos VX phone system line is the Duo. According to a release it is designed to bring “the same user experience and high-quality audio as our flagship VX Enterprise system at a price point that puts VoIP within the reach of any budget.”
The petite 1/3-rackmount Duo is built “on a compact and silent platform specifically designed for in-studio use. VX Duo can be placed on any studio or control room surface…” according to the announcement.
The VX Duo is naturally quite at home in any Livewire+ or other AoIP studio environment in addition to working with Telos’ “VSet phones, integrated console call controllers, and VX-compatible call screening software all integrate seamlessly with VX Duo, as does our Axia Pathfinder Core Pro Broadcast Controller for building HTML5-based control panels.”
It is also compatible with standard cloud-based VoIP systems.
Telos Alliance Product Manager Robbie Green summed it up: “With the nonstop price increases for everything delivered over legacy copper phone lines, we wanted to make sure that all broadcasters, even those with modest tech budgets, are able to capture the savings offered by VoIP.”
