Branding is essential for any radio station in a competitive market, but how about digital radio branding as branding for digital radio?
German consumer electronics and IT products manufacturer Technisat has come up with a clever idea to help customers promote their brands: branding promotional digital audio products for their listeners, key accounts and strategic clients.
The 35-year-old company has found a way to brand its wide range of digital audio products, including mobile and hi-fi component digital radio receivers, clock radios, and digital adaptors for car audio systems. The units can receive DAB+, internet radio, Bluetooth and audio streaming services.
Technisat can place a station’s brand on any of its units and set up the station as a preset, so when someone receives a unit and switches it on, the preferred station roars into life, with its branding front of mind.
