The Digital Radio Mondiale Consortium has several events planned for the upcoming IBC show, Sept. 13–16, in Amsterdam.
Using the theme, “DRM — Connecting All Through Innovation,” the festivities will begin with an info-filled Zoom virtual event, before the show, 1:30 p.m., Sept. 10.
At the show there will be two on-site events on Sept. 14. At the Gospell Digital Technology stand, 1.B14, 11 a.m., there will be a look at the latest in the company’s DRM receivers.
In the afternoon, 4 p.m., at the Fraunhofer stand, 8.B80, there will be a meet and greet “to get the latest developments and announcements on DRM and also meet DRM experts and network with those involved in promoting the global, all-frequency, efficient DRM standard,” according to the announcement.
On Sept. 15, at 4 p.m., Nautel will host an event for DRM members at stand 8.D70 for a session on the continued relevance of digital radio.
Other DRM member companies and their experts present at IBC are: Ampegon, CML Micro, Encompass, BBC, Desay SV, RFmondial, RF2Digital, Starwaves, Bosch, Dolby, RRI, NXP, Panasonic, Skyworks, Assendive, Cambridge Consultants, DAC System, Inntot, Szomel, Kintronic Labs and Spaceline.
