Tech Focus: Aqua Broadcast says its Cobalt FM transmitter is anything but a typical FM transmitter. The company explains that the TX is built on a robust platform and includes direct-to-channel digital modulation.
New features to the Cobalt include remote audio confidence streaming as standard and new paid options — including a tuner and IP codec — in partnership with 2wcom.
With a range of models in various powers, the Cobalt offers flexibility for both small community stations and larger commercial broadcasters. Its intuitive interface, complete with RGB display and joystick controls, makes setup and operation a breeze, the company points out. On top of that, a built-in audio processor and RDS are standard.
Aqua Broadcast says that the Cobalt line combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendly operation and more standard features than competitors, plus free software updates for life and the most up-to-date network security features that keep users as safe as possible.
