
FM transmitter manufacturer Aqua Broadcast has partnered with 2wcom Systems GmbH. This collaboration integrates 2wcom’s IP codec technology into Aqua Broadcast’s Cobalt FM transmitters, combining the expertise of both companies to provide broadcasters with advanced features and functionality.

The upcoming IP codec option will support 16 different audio formats, including PCM, enhanced aptX, Opus, MP2, MP3 and various AAC formats such as LC, LD, ELD, ELDv2, HE, HEv2 and xHE-AAC, offering broadcasters flexibility and performance.
