Italian radio association seeks five-year DAB+ fee exemption
Dutch media group Talpa has announced a new brand structure for Talpa Network and Talpa Studios. Talpa Network operates the group’s Dutch television, radio, streaming and digital media brands, while Talpa Studios develops, produces and distributes unscripted entertainment formats for the international market.
Under the new structure, Talpa Network becomes three separate business units: Talpa Video, Talpa Audio and Talpa Media. Talpa Studios will remain an independent production company within the wider Talpa group.
Talpa Audio brings together the radio brands Radio 538, Radio 10, Sky Radio and Radio Noordzee, with digital audio positioned as a key area for growth. Talpa Video comprises the television channels SBS6, NET5, Veronica and SBS9, streaming platform KIJK, the group’s digital channels and its news organization.
Talpa Media becomes the sales house for integrated Total Audio and Total Video propositions for advertisers and partners. The restructuring also introduces a new corporate identity. At the same time, Talpa will centralize expertise in AI, innovation, data and technology at group level so the different units can share knowledge and tools.
