Italian radio association seeks five-year DAB+ fee exemption
Bauer Media’s U.K. unit has announced Amplify, a “new early careers apprenticeship program.”
The announcement said the first group of 16 based in the U.K., “will join teams across Audio U.K. and Audio Europe-wide functions, including content, communications, finance, data and technology, while contributing to initiatives and projects across Bauer Media’s markets and creating new routes into careers in media.”
It added that the program will combine “paid employment with structured learning, mentoring and on-the-job experience…”
Bauer Academy Managing Director Courtnay McLeod said Amplify… It has been designed to give people entering the media sector the genuine development, care and support they need to grow, succeed and feel they belong.”
Bauer Media Audio Global HR Director Elaine Bremner said, “Amplify is an important investment in the future of our business and our industry. By creating accessible, no-experience-required routes into Bauer Media, we are opening the door to young people with different backgrounds, perspectives and potential… For our apprentices, it means the chance to learn, grow and launch meaningful careers in media with the support of one of the world’s leading audio and media companies.”
