Italian radio association seeks five-year DAB+ fee exemption
CABSAT 2026 will bring the broadcast, media and professional AV sectors to Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai from Oct. 5–7. The 33rd edition marks the event’s move to a new venue, where the exhibition will occupy Halls S17 and S19.
Following IBC2026 in Amsterdam, CABSAT is the next major international exhibition on the media technology calendar. Although much of the event centers on television, video production and satellite services, its exhibitor directory also includes radio, audio hardware and software, professional audio, live streaming, terrestrial distribution and transmission and playout technology.
Audio production will receive a dedicated presence through “Off The Record,” a broadcast-grade podcast studio presented in partnership with Dubai Studio City. Operating throughout the three-day event, the studio will host live interviews, panel discussions and podcast recordings intended for publication after the exhibition.
The wider show will also cover cloud and IP workflows, remote production, broadcast infrastructure, monitoring and content distribution. RedTech is an official media partner for CABSAT 2026 and will report on developments relevant to radio, podcasting and streaming professionals.
