Sharon Dastur Joins Radio Intelligence

Sharon Dastur has joined Radio Intelligence as vice president and strategic advisor.

Dastur’s career includes more than 20 years of building some of the biggest brands in radio, music, and entertainment. As SVP of programming for Z100 in New York, she led the station to its highest ratings in the station’s history. She also co-created and executive produced Z100’s Jingle Ball and the annual concert at Madison Square Garden. In Z100’s remarkable history, Dastur is the only female head of programming and the longest-serving.

Most recently, as SVP of Promotion at Republic Records, she’s worked with some of the biggest artists in the world on their radio and brand strategy, including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Drake, The Weeknd, and Jonas Brothers. 

In addition, Radio Intelligence points out that she has won accolades across the entertainment industry, including the prestigious annual Billboard Women in Music list, TJ Martell Women of Influence, ELLE Magazine’s Women in Music Power List, and Women in Music: The 50 Most Powerful Executives in the Industry.
