Salem Media Group has launched a new Christian teaching and talk format in South Florida, marking its first such format expansion in over a decade.
Broadcasting on AM 670 WWFE and branded as “The Word Miami,” the station covers a broad region from Vero Beach to the Florida Keys, including Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The format is also simulcast on AM 1550 WRHC (Miramar) and via FM translators 103.1 FM (Miami) and 98.7 FM (Miramar).
According to Salem, the new format aims to serve a market it says has lacked consistent Christian talk content. The station streams live 24/7 at TheWordMiami.com and on platforms including iHeartRadio, Audacy and TuneIn and is accessible via smart speakers.
