The organizers of Radio TechCon 2024 have announced three more sessions for the event on Monday, Nov. 25, at IET London: Savoy Place.
The sessions are the following:
- Radio 2’s new studios and moving Europe’s biggest radio station to its new home
- BFBS — transmission links in the cloud
- 100 years of the pips
The sessions are in addition to a virtual tour of The Lantern, the new U.K. headquarters of Bauer Media, a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Electrical Association for Women, with stories and insights from IET archivists, and the University of Sheffield presenting their latest research on speech-to-text technologies.
The event organizers say they will reveal a full line-up soon.
Radio TechCon is aimed at people with a hands-on interest in radio and audio technology. All are welcome, from engineers to producers and those working in related industries.
Tickets are now on sale for £175 + VAT, with discounts available for members of industry organizations such as The Radio Academy, AudioUK, CMA, SRA and IET.
