The upcoming Radio TechCon show in London has announced its “biggest bursary scheme” ever to entice those who might be unable to afford to attend the show.
According to a release, “Thanks to the generous support of sponsors News UK, All in Media — a part of Xperi, The Radio Academy, Bauer Media, Brun Audio Consulting, Ann Charles Media, Clockhouse Media and an anonymous donor, there will be 20 bursary places in the form of free tickets available to people from backgrounds underrepresented in broadcast engineering, or who are facing a financial barrier.”
In addition, travel and accommodation expenses may be covered as well. Plus, those receiving the subsidies will receive a year’s membership in The Radio Academy.
