M6 Group has become France’s leading private radio broadcaster for live digital listening after its stations recorded 34.2 million active listening sessions in May, according to the latest monthly rankings from the ACPM, the country’s media measurement organization. The result places the group’s radio portfolio—which includes RTL, RTL2 and Fun Radio—at the top of the private radio rankings for live digital listening.
RTL achieved a record month, becoming France’s most-listened-to private radio station for live digital streaming. The station increased its active listening by 63% compared with May 2025. RTL2 also posted strong growth, reaching 5.6 million active listening sessions to become the leading station in the young adult format. The station reported growth of 57% compared with April and 86% year over year.
Fun Radio also recorded its highest-ever level of digital listening, surpassing 3.4 million active listening sessions. The station’s audience grew 20% month over month and 42% year over year.
The figures are based on the ACPM’s May 2026 Digital Radio rankings, which measure active listening in France. The monthly comparisons use April 2026 as the baseline, while the annual comparisons use May 2025 as the baseline.
