Broadcast equipment maker Inovonics has completed a Sofia SiteStreamer digital flush with the addition of the Sofia 563 DAB+ SiteStreamer+; and just in time for the IBC show.
The company’s SiteStreamers are web-connected remote signal monitors. The 563 is built on top of the INOmini line’s basics, the relevant one being the 662 DAB/DAB+ SiteStreamer.
It provides analog, analog, AES3 digital and Dante/AES 67 AoIP streaming audio outputs.
According to Inovonics the 563 collects histograms of signal parameters and displays the DAB+ MOT Slideshow album artwork, station logos and similar visuals via the web interface. Internet-streamed listening is available for up to 10 listeners at once.
Using Inovonics onboard StationRotation feature the 563 can monitor multiple stations via a single unit. Alarms and notifications are sent via email and SMS. Alarms include DAB loss, audio loss and low signal. A front-panel screen allows for onsite operation.
