There are also thoughts on mixing contributor sources in an age where that has become simplified via digital tools such as cellphones and IP audio. (FYI, kids, sourcing out-of-studio contributors used to be a usually costly pain in the neck in the days of analog and copper wire networks.)
Also becoming much easier is the ability to customize scripts to create for all sorts of automated commands and handy macros. Davis hits on that burgeoning feature field.
