Ferncast will host a free webinar titled ‘The ideal UI/UX for audio reporting in the field’ on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 10 am CET.
During this free event, Ferncast experts will showcase what they have implemented to make audio commentary and reporting from the field as straightforward as possible while at the same time offering powerful tools for managing connections. The seminar will cover how reporters and commentators can control everything they need with a few clicks, and they can broadly automate even complex actions in the user interface. Ferncast will talk about the processes behind the modern design of their reporter UI/UX.
As a special guest, the journalist Tim Klotz will report on his own experiences using the aixtream UI with his job as a commentator for the German football club 1. FSV Mainz. Ferncast provided an Audio Codec Server Mini running aixtream software to Mainz05 to handle audio encoding and streaming. The commentator’s microphones connect via a USB audio interface to the Mini, and they control this combo live via a laptop PC. Ferncast has customized aixtream UI for Mainz 05 to optimize their workflow and answer their specific requests.
Ferncast says this webinar will be of particular interest to reporters, commentators and audio contribution operators.
You can register for the free Zoom webinar here.
Ferncast will send a recording to all registrants afterward.
