EBU calls on Brussels to protect direct access to radio in vehicles
Ferncast will host a free webinar on July 1 at 10 a.m. CET, in collaboration with SessionLinkPRO, titled “On-Air Anywhere – Call, Record and Go Live.” The session will focus on integrating browser-based remote contribution tools into professional audio workflows.
The event highlights the integration of SessionLinkPRO’s WebRTC-based communication tools into Ferncast’s aixtream software. Ferncast says the setup offers a scalable and user-friendly alternative to classical encoders and telephone hybrids for remote communication.
According to Ferncast, participants will see how multiple SessionLinkPRO connections can be managed directly within aixtream, enabling smoother integration into existing broadcast infrastructure. The session will include a live demonstration and technical guidance from Ferncast specialists.
Tim Proegler from SessionLinkPRO will join as a guest speaker to discuss the platform’s core features and how it supports reliable browser-based access for remote participants.
The webinar is aimed at broadcast engineers, studio technicians and audio infrastructure planners. After the event, all registrants will receive a link to the session recording.
