Ferncast has announced a sales and distribution partnership with Eurocom in France to add another premium distributor to its growing list of partners in Europe.
Eurocom, an importer and integrator of radio studios in France for 25 years, is now offering Ferncast’s aixtream software which the company says is an all-in-one customizable software for OTT web audio streaming solutions, audio transmission over SIP, DVB transcoding and more.
“aixtream is a very flexible software for integrating live audio streaming. It allows encoding, transcoding, recording, streaming, and monitoring of high-quality audio streams,” said Jésus Vazquez Miguel, sales director of Eurocom. “By working with Ferncast, we are able to bring to the French market an alternative and innovative solution for audio distribution, contribution and archiving. ‘
Last month Ferncast announced version 2.5 of aixtream, which includes implementation of WebRTC [Web Real-Time Communication] technology. The company says aixtream is an audio streaming, playout and broadcasting solution for any live audio application.
